Do you need anything for privacy purposes? Otherwise so like them as is and agree you should focus on the walls instead

do you absolutely need to shut out the sun in here? if not, then I'd go with no window treatments at all. the windows are pretty enough on their own.

if this were my room? I'd ditch the slipcovers. if they're hiding bad chairs, replace them. hang some art on the walls. this room is already really pretty as-is, it doesn't need much!

I really just came here to ask about the windows as I’m pleased with my design otherwise. We have only been here a few weeks. Having doubled our square footage, we will slowly add over time, including art. I don’t want to run out and buy generic art just to fill space. Those Parsons Chairs and are meant to be slipcovered. They were like $600 each from Arhaus and aren’t going anywhere. I love the softness they add. This room gets strong northeastern light and can handle the dark paint. It creates a stunning contrast with the white. I love it, as well as my chandelier (which is HUGE in real life - no idea why it would read as too small).

I made a lot of progress in this room since posting about it four months ago. I’m a slow and steady decorator! My vintage plate collection is still being gathered; I will hang them up on the one blank wall when I have enough to make an impact. My handyman is coming this week to give the corner cabinet a more built in look. The room gets amazing light the entire day. Love it! Here are some pics:
