Design Dilemma Basements Kitchens

design delimma kitchen remodel and root cellar access

I currently have a laundry room out side the main house. Trying to decide if I should encorporate it into the main remodel for the house. Only issue is it is the only access to the root celler which requires a sump pump during heavy rains. Other issue is it is outside the main exterior bearring wall so it might be cost prohibitive.

Sounds like a local contractor would know what your options are. Could you build a second laundry room in the house in your remodel? The first one could be for fair weather.
