For above the fireplace, I'd like you to have a piece of art that is a visual representation of that verse - something encouraging and inspiring. Something that speaks to you of hope. You'll have to look around and be open to what that is for you - and it can take time.

If you must have it as part of your decor, print it on vellum, matte it, frame it and place it somewhere you'll see it (and read it aloud) each day upon awakening. Perhaps your bedroom or where you have your coffee/tea each morning?

If you are committed to having the verse printed above your fireplace, have no further decor above it.

It's a great verse and I think it will have just as much, if not more, impact if you make it part of your daily prayers and meditations.

If you had planned on installing words on the wall, it would have been better to have them above the art over the fireplace.

That said, words on the wall are never a good solution for wall decor IMO.

Yes, it's a nice verse, but I'd vastly prefer a large piece of art there.

Thanks guys for the advice

Nothing above the words. The rule for art is, more or less, place it at eye level and leave the space above empty. If you want to keep the quote there, make it into art, properly printed or painted, and framed. As it is, it lacks presence.
