How To Clean Sweater Wool Area Rug?

Hey, I bought this rug from World Market for my living room and it needs to be cleaned but every carpet cleaning service I've called has said they can't do this kind of rug because it's made of "wool and synthetic fibers". Can you spot clean it? Air dry, my guess, to avoid shrinkage.

Can't spot clean it. It needs to be professionally cleaned.
