I am in the design process of a new house and I wonder if it's a good idea to have (engineered) wood on both the flooring and the (flat) ceilings of the sleeping area of the bedrooms? They are around 12-20m2 in size with high ceilings (2.90m) and a glass facade with sea views and I am after a warmer, more cosy look. I was thinking different timber (e.g. slightly darker for the ceilings), but I am worried that it'd still be too much.
