'Mme. Lambard' is hands-down my best rose, when winter comes on ... blooming like a trouper . . .

But I have to say . . . 'Belle Story' is beginning to challenge her, in that:

Every time I see Mme L, I wonder all over again why I don't have her. Yours is a beauty, Jeri. On the other hand, Austins and I have a history (not a good one) but your Belle Story is really special. Any rose that's attractive to bees has my attention and your Belle is so, well, belle! I'm so grateful that you shared them with us.

Kes -- If it makes you feel better, The Madame has a distressing tendency to mildew, in the summer months, here. (OTOH, that might not be a problem in TN!) She's a Queen, though, in my winters.

And, I've put my time and money into Austins, only to find that many of them were problematic, here. So, I'd not have BOUGHT Belle Story ... and in fact, she came to me as something else. But I am really happy to have her.
