A friend's daughter asked me to make bedsheets for her daughter's American Girl Doll. Oh sure, I said... then she brought over the fabric and it was satin! Yikes. I have never sewn with it so made a sample pattern with some fabric I already had to make sure it would fit properly. (fitted sheet, top sheet and pillows!) Oh, and she wanted me to add beaded lace to the pillow! They turned out okay and the 8-year old granddaughter loved them both. The purple satin set is on the little mattress. It was about 12 x 24" - the print was the sample pattern.
