the window sill decorative tile..

it looks as tho the window sill decorative tile is cut too long, the backsplash of the sinks decorative tile should be covering the end of window sill decorative tile so you don't see the end of the sill tile.

Thank you for your comment. All of the tile is lining up as it should making a 90 degree turn into the window sill. What you are seeing on the corner detail of the tile and along the top edge is a Schluter Strip. It is a metal detail to cover edges of the tile. It give a nice clean and modern look and makes sure there are not exposed tile edges. It was used in the backsplash and on details in the shower.

clean look? sorry, but it doesn't look very clean to me.. it actually looks exactly what you described, to cover up the ends of the tile.. why not miter the tile?

In person it is a very clean look to the edge, I am sorry it is not to your liking. These particular clients love the look and it is incorporated throughout the space for a cohesive modern look. It is a very common way to cover the edges of tiles that do not have bullnose available and cannot be mitered in a clean way.
