You have a nice front hall! I would like to see more photos of the other walls.

From what I see, there is not enough room for a chair and a table is just going to clog things up. I recommend a plant on the side where you have one. But a tall, narrow one would be better.

I too would like to see the whole space but IMO not every nook and cranny needs something a nice open space in an entry is a good thing and the plant you have is too small and is not getting enough light there.

A plant that appears half-dead is never a good look. Replace it with something thriving.

If you head to Lowes or HD look for a low light plant like a Dieffenbachia or something similar.

I have a similar space and have been on the hunt for a decorative umbrella stand to fill it. Still searching though.

That’s a beautiful entry. I wouldn’t put anything on the other side of the door, but I would search for a larger, patterned rug. Persian, maybe, in a 5x7. Pull it back from the door so it doesn’t cover the vent.

I like the idea of putting a taller plant or a nice, decorative hat/coat rack that will disguise thermostat. Stick to a smaller interesting rug

The rugs shown add a lot of warmth and interest. How about a tall coat tree to “hide” the thermostat. One that means something or has a style you really like such as an antique wood.

Unless you need something there I would leave it clean and uncluttered. Letting the lines of the architecture show is sometimes the best.

Find a tufted velvet gray high backed chair for the right corner. Nice to have a place for visitors to set a purse or package. Small pretty rug and pedestal with fern or drapey plant.
