Lindsey Espiritu I can just tell you our designers we work with are not asking for grey colored wood floors any more. That color seems to have had its 15 minutes of fame. Natural and very light whitewash are both very popular.

Yea, designers. They get bored quickly and come up with other crazy stuff. Maybe a bunch of them dreamed up luxury vinyl. However dark grey has never fared well from my experience.

Can I ask what you mean by 'fared well?' As in appearance, or wear and tear? Here is a photo of what it is.

I’m considering installing Chesapeake engineered wood floors in my townhouse. The samples look great but I’m concerned about the quality of these floors. Did you choose this brand, and how are you liking them?

Hi! Just happened to see this. Yes! We did choose them. The quality is really good I feel. I have two small children and two small dogs. We’ve had a few little scratches here and there but nothing substantial. My toddler runs her toys with wheels all over them and the dog is constantly skidding all over and they’ve held up well thus far. We moved in April.

I'm interested as well, looking at Chesapeake Flooring Engineered wood, the specifications say: ½ inch thickness, urethane finish, 50 year residential/ 3 yr light commercial, random lengths up to 72 inches, 7.5 inch width, grade ABCD, european oak species. I'm looking at Points East Everglades color imo a pale neutral ash brown with no pink red yellow undertones.
