We're finally working on the kitchen and thankfully it's not a complete gut.

We've painted our yellow oak cabinets with American White cabinet paint from Benjamin Moore, and the walls in Stormy Monday, also from BM.
I ordered a mercury glass pendant light for our small kitchen.

We've selected a carrera marble-like 2x4" mosaic for the backsplash, but are unsure about the counter colours. We currently have a solid black laminate :S and we definitely don't want solid (or really any) black again.

We're thinking whitish or greyish quartz, but we can't seem to get the right combination. Any suggestions or inspiration is welcome!
