My experience is all white grout yellows and discolors Can we see the tile? I have heard epoxy grout is a bit better.

@ykagan did you pick a grout? I was pretty set on getting epoxy b/c it seems superior in terms of mildew resistance but i didn't know about yellowing.

Haven't finalized one yet. We will be doing epoxy (light gray) for bathroom floor and shower floor. We just started putting tiles and grout will go next week. Since we have large window I also will be putting window films to minimize UV light as it, based on research, might affect epoxy grout color. Though I read that even LED light could be harmful! Anyways, I still want white for shower walls, we have white polished tiles with chrome accents and I don't see any other grout color there. My first choice is to do regular Mapei unsanded grout since we'll have 1/16 joints. I found Mapei whites are much whiter than Laticrete. 2nd choice is Mapei Ultracolor Plus (Max or FA). Mapei says it can be used as sanded/unsanded grout replacement, but have to admit it definitely looks more sanded than I prefer.

@ykagan yikes, even led lights?! i'm also using white polished tiles, tight joints and want white grout. let me know what you end up with. Aren't there more mildew/staining concerns with Mapei than with Laticrete?

Susan Scown-It’s been a couple of years since you posted that you would be doing white tiles with white grout. I would really appreciate knowing what type of grout you ended up using and how it has worked out for you.
