Have eyes on a corner lot that poses a baffling problem. Lot is slightly sloped so a daylight is feasible. The lot has a lake and mountain view and is about 11,000 square feet.

A traditional daylight will not fit. The front door would be on the back of the house and difficult to access so a direct entry to greatroom with expansive windows is out.

What is needed is something akin to a side entry entrance, a foyer then a right turn into the view/living area of the house. An “L” shape but not an “L” where the garage is at a 90 degree angle to the living space, in fact, the garage needs to be on the same side as the front door. This is an internal “L” if that makes any sense.

Scouring floor plans on line and I can’t find anything. Builder we have talked to gave up a plan that as I described but do not care for it.

Square footage, prefer to keep under 2,500 including lower level.
