I like the tile, but in the second picture it looks too white compared to the granite sample. Do they have an off-white of that tile?

i agree that you need to go with neutral BS but i think its too white/stark. i would try to match a color in the counter. also, i would not use a beveled tile when doing herringbone.

Herringbone pattern sounds nice nut not with beveled tile. You will need a really good tile person to handle the cuts so that look right for beveled tile. Use regular subway instead would be my recommendation to get the best result

I'm going to agree about the herringbone and beveled combination. If you do a herringbone, it should be a smooth subway. Be cautious about the grout color that you use. White will recede. Grey, brown, charcoal or black will dominate.

Third vote for concern with herringbone with bevel- think about how inside corners and outside corners will work- so much risk of heartache. It can be done with careful planning but... What are you doing for electrical outlets- they will always sit proud of the tile which can be OK with a horizontal install but can get funny with diagonal. Generally I like the tile and I like herringbone, just not together,

Thanks everyone!!! I’m trying to contact the design center to change it. Problem is I live about 4 hours away, so I would most likely have to pick something based off of a picture. Does anyone have pics of suggestions I could show them?

If it were me, I would simply cancel the backsplash tile order for now. The backsplash should be the last thing selected and most people wait until everything else is in place. I'd try to have a few subway tile options you can get closer to home so that when everything is in you will be able to decide quickly. I still think that I would do a regular subway tile in a standard brick pattern as I feel the herringbone is too busy and not the right look with the granite you've selected.

I know this thread is a few months old but I was wondering what you ended up doing? I currently have espresso cabinets and similar granite and a backsplash thats very busy and I dislike, so I wanted to replace with a simple white herringbone subway tile but happened to own two cases of white beveled subway and was hoping to use them to cut down on material costs... I’d love to see a picture of what you ended up doing!

Also, I’d love to know the brand and color name of your LVP!
