You definitely need some color, such as the two colorful examples from Beverly. Once you choose something, add some pillows that echo the colors in the art. The art work you have now is a good width but could be a little taller. Hang it 5-6" above the sofa.

I would consider putting something above that window like decorative iron scroll door toppers that are used, at least it will change the shape of the window appearance so it's not so obvious that the window is the same shape as that horizontal artwork below it. That might soften the look of the window since the shade blinds maybe needs something to soften the look.

Find a very large painting with some colors that you love and start there. I would love to see a rug in the room and maybe some end tables.

I was thinking as the above suggestions. Look around for a more colorful picture and a coordinating rug. Actually you have the hardest part completed with your awesome furniture. :)
