Not sure what style/color you are looking for but these cabinets don't seem to compare to the options available from Kraftmaid.

BTW plywood boxes are no better than furniture board boxes and in face the bonus is that if you are painting the furniture board does not expand and contract like plywood

The best is termed as furniture board because it is furniture grade. Fine and strong, particleboard holds a screw better than plywood because it is denser and the material is not as vulnerable to expansion and contraction. That is a plus when cabinets are made with tons of screws holding moving and working parts.Sep 12, 2018

I agree we need some more info . I would always use Ikea before Kraftmaid plywood construction is not important to me I much prefer to have very innovative storage ideas

Kraftmaid/Merillat has great innovative ideas! Like their CoreGuard sink base that forever eliminates the possibility of any moisture damage.

Thanks for all the input. Unfortunately we do not have an Ikea nearby so I'm not going to use them. We're looking at white shaker cabinets. I don't necessarily want to go with a high-end line but not necessarily the stock, cheapest cabinets. Looking for something middle range in terms of price and options?

Well I can't suggest a brand, but I can recommend against one. Whatever you do, don't go with Wellborn Forest. I too, wanted quality but not super high end. Bought into what my KD promised was the best quality out there, and it's a mess. Uneven door sizes, drawers that won't close right, screws protruding, damaged finishes etc. Was terrible getting a rep to come, and still haven't received even what he promised, while most of it I'm just stuck with, it seems.
