Add draperies to the one bare window so it doesn't look so strange.

Install an Uplight in the base of your plant. It plugs into the wall and then that corner will not look so very dark.

Cause rug is lighter, and stone has heaviness - what about rug or ottoman with bit of warm color?

How did the TV get hung? If you can't do curtain rod then maybe an inside mount roman shade to finish the window. No to any white furniture. Larger rug in dining area should be at 24" wider all around table. Swivel chairs in a fabric that ties the blue/brown/beige together. I think C tables would be better than a coffee table.
