I agree with pearl--too much pattern on the plates to make food look appetizing. Opt for a solid color and add patterns in place mats etc.

It doesn't appear to have any hints of gray, however gray is a neutral so it would work. Overall you have taupe, yellow, orange, brownish red and browns, so if it is a gray -brown then it should work, but something in the blue or green family might work better than this.

ever noticed how better restaurants and cooking shows very often use plain white or lsolid, light color dishes dishes? it makes for a better food presentation. these are awfully busy and no, i don't think they would be good with gray.
