Loved everything .

    A dry March.

yes Margo you are right. that has been an issue in Ohio. our wet month of March and April. we did get the community garden is cleared and tilled. The Johnson grass will be up by April 25. Our open date. But I now have 2 small tillers now to lift the roots to the surface. the first year I enjoyed pulling the long healthy roots up. it got to be to much. now just try to pick up the pieces and hope I am slowing it down.

I'm very sorry to let you know that my husband passed away early today. He had multiple issues (not coronavirus) and it got to the point where they could not do much to treat him so it was time. He was a cheerful patient who didn't complain, certainly not something I would be good at, so I'm full of admiration for that trait he displayed. He was capable of making his health care decisions. Obviously, this will be a different world ahead, but I'm doing okay and any prayers or good thoughts are appreciated. Other than that, I don't need anything. It will take some time before I get back into a more usual routine, but it will happen. May God protect you, your family members, and the brave health care workers who work with special concern and cheerfulness day after day in stressful circumstances. The coronovirus has definitely totally redefined how we deal with the passing of a loved one. Shirley I hope with your mother, things could be scheduled as usual. Not possible here now.

So glad it came! Hope everyone is staying well and safe and have what you need!

Jeanne, I am so, so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband. I will certainly keep you and your family in my prayers. I am sure his demeanor made things a little easier but I know he will be greatly missed by you. God bless. Margo

Hope everyone is staying safe during this virus situation. We only have one case here and

it is a man who came here from New York. Our family is doing a lot together and the kids love getting together. Hope I am able to hike again soon and I can stay busy with what I love to do.

Jeanne so sorry to hear about your husband. This month of March 2020 has not been kind. Hope the service for him works out.. Lots of hugs and prayers for you Jeanne.

I had two friends who came today and dug up a bed of Japanese Irises for me. They added fresh dirt and replanted them. After 3-5 years they always have to be re-planted for they use all the

    nutrients in the existing soil.

Deb sorry your dog got cut from the glass, I know we truly love our fur babies. Looking forward to

    you joining in the swaps.

I am going to guess that children grow faster in spring than other times of the year.

yes Susan that is right. and something I never knew.

I remember when my kids were small I would buy them summer clothes that would fit them loosely in March and they would outgrow them by July. so it must be true. I learned my lesson after a couple of years, especially with 3 kids, 2 of them were twins

Susan, they are doing bears in our community. I have windows up too high to do it. Any windows lower are not facing the road. We sit back from the road too

If it goes over good, I’ll see if I can find an old teddy bear to put outside closer to the road.

Thank you Susan, that is very kind of you. I didn't expect to win anything. What a nice surprise!

I love what you posted about being safe at home. Those of us that can be home are very fortunate. I have been able to work from home and am very thankful for that. My sister is an RN and is the charge nurse of the IC unit for coronavirus at a hospital in Cleveland. I am praying she will be remain safe and healthy. She tells me they don't have all the supplies they so desperately need. It's that way across the country with first responder, and these folks on the front lines are truly heroes. I pray for strength and continued resolve as we fight this global pandemic together.

Susan, thank you for your hosting job this month. Awesome job.

I love your post too. My husband and I are in a safe environment but miss our family dearly. Our dil works at a hospital in Columbus and although slow now, she anticipates that it’s only a matter of time before she gets it. I just want this over although I don’t think things will be the same for a long time.
