That said, I have traditional recipe unprocessed marmalade on my shelves from 2018. I can't tell if your recipe would keep as well since I have no concept of 'cups'.

I think this is an England/US divide, as I have a couple of English canning books that don't call for processing. I'm not sure if there's a lot more acid and/or sugar in English recipes, or if it's just a philosophical difference.

I open a jar of marmalade or jam and it can sit for months in the fridge and never go bad. If it's just 2 jars I wouldn't bother reprocessing. Only thing is, if you give one of those jars to someone you will need to warn them to "refrigerate only". That's wht I have to do with the freezer jams I make and then give out to folks.
