I love my 7' doors with 9' ceilings. 8' doors look goofy with 9' ceilings IMO.

Are they a true 7’ or 6’8”?

We have 8' doors with 9' ceilings in our under construction house and it looks fine. We don't have crown moulding, though, so I don't know about that.

I have to decide today 😬 I really wanted 7ft but I’d have to wait 8 weeks and I can’t handle any more delays. I’m wanting to go for the custom look so I am leaning towards the 8ft.

Eight foot high doors and windows look fine in spaces with ten foot high ceilings.

We have the 8 ft doors in where there are 10ft ceilings. It’s the 9foot ceiling areas that I am questioning. I love the 8 foot doors with 10 ft ceilings and wish I would have done that everywhere

Doors should relate to people rather than ceilings. I always use 7 ft doors.

7ft is what I want but it’ll take 8 weeks and cost more
