Ceiling.

I have not seen these ceiling mounted tracks before, but I love it. It has been a long time since I've bought window treatments. Is it possible or preferable to install the track before finishing the ceiling in new construction or does the window contract install this into the drywall?

I love the ceiling mount tracks and I agree that W2W in master with really full drapes would look so good. And probably not W2W in other bedroom because of closet.

I don't have any issue with using the surface mounted ceiling track. You can get them at IKEA.

Beverly the surface mount is fine, but the integrated track looks so cool and sleek. Do you have any experience with that? Since I'm currently building, I'd love to know if there is something the contractor should do before drywall.

This is done after drywall you want to be able at some stage maybe to remove and change something . This part of the decor not the construction. BTW I love that rod
