I think those are supposed to be dragonflies. Not a professional, but I think it does clash a little. If you like the dragonflies, maybe include something else in the room that has both gold and silver on it

They don’t necessarily clash, but they look grannyish to me.

I think the dragonflies look fine! Adds a bit of whimsy and doesn’t clash, in my opinion.
