Yes, another post!

Wet, cold Easter here!

Worked on "the ring of hosta" yesterday! In my backyard I have three huge spruce or pine trees. They have had snakeroot and other weeds around the edge of the lower limbs.

"Weeds Be Gone!" "Hosta Be Here!" ... Gardens are not that easy.

So I dug out grass between the few hostas I tossed there last Fall that I found on sale. My son came over and helped. I transplanted some daylillys for filler.

This morning I went to the Hy-Vee garden center and snooped. DH is keeping a close eye on me due to the stay at home order. What did I spy??? Most I have but I don't have Empress Wu and another one I forgot the name of already. However, most of the hosta there haven't piped! I am patient and will wait. However there was an azalea that promised to bloom twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. I do miss the azaleas of my childhood. So I will pick up a couple after the cold weather leaves this week.

Hosta Alley is looking promising, no hosta lose but I think the coral bells didn't make. Oh well, more room for new hosta.
