Do blueberries need to be dormant when being upsized?

I have bareroots and containers that are fruiting.
Ive read that you should transplant when dormant but im thinking this is usually when being moved to a similarly sized container or when roots are being excessively disturbed. If being moved to a bigger pot or spacious raised bed, is it necessary to wait?

We moved all 14 of ours last year from large pots to a more spacious raised bed. Some were suffering in the pots they had outgrown, so we made the decision to move them right away. Initially I was a little worried for them, but I am happy to say that they bounced back quickly and all are thriving this year as a result of the move. We've often bought containers that are fruiting and transplanted them right away, with no harm.
