I started summer and winter squash seedlings about 3 weeks ago under lights inside. They've taken off and now I wonder if I need to pot them up from their current 3 inch pots. I'd really rather not as I'm low on space under lights and by the sunniest window. Can I cut them back?? My last SAFE frost date is May 1, although Farmers Almanac had me at April 21. Ha! This week we have a 30 degree night.
