I think a neutral green would look great as it blends with your beautiful outdoor background. A new rug and some interesting lighter and mixed couch pillows would add so much to the room,.

I like your wall color and the trim color and just think the rug, which needs to be larger for this room could add some color and interest.

I don't think a light-colored rug would be the best choice for this room.

I would select a rug you love first...then pick a color ....for the walls...that compliments the rug...white trim sort of takes this room to a different place decor wise...the furniture and rug may feel too dark with white trim...i would however go as light as possible for walls and rug since the room has so much natural light ...and darker colors absorb the light...lighter colors will bounce the light around to make the room more bright and cheery

Also...take a close look at how the rugs in the pics go with the floors...that should be an important consideration in choosing your rug as well

A rug with a little golden influence looks good with the golden floors

I would use a jute or grass rug .

Given it’s a sunroom I would look for a rug that feels light and airy and less traditional. Rug below may not be the right shade of green of your paint, but a similar rug would be really cute in there.

I find that when I paint I re-evaluate accessories and thought the following ideas may help if you plan to update. I can see modern botanical cushions that bring in the green and couch color, as well as framed prints over couch. Add a large straw basket with a throw for cooler evenings and of course, don’t forget a large plant.

It looks like you may be in the mountains?...it would help to know where you are located...as a “sunroom” has a different definition in Aspen ,colorado..than it does in Hawaii...for instance...

This is our sunroom. We lightened our natural oak floors and used a smaller rug to lighten up the space. My favorite room in our house. Another chair could fit in the area, but we have a TV on one wall so it seemed too crowded. I love your sunroom. You will use it often so make it your comfy, cozy room!
