Is that vinyl siding? IMO the siding is all wrong with the brick so I can’t comment on garage door color

Your garage door looks crooked, you’ll want to check that out so it doesn’t break. Would you consider painting your front door the same color as the shutters? Then paint your garage the same color as the siding. There’s a lot going on with the brick, siding and shutters, streamlining the face of the house with color might make it all feel more cohesive.

Thank you, Lidia, for your thoughtful comment. The garage door is crooked (spring is broken) and is being replaced with an Amarr garage door. The shutters will be painted at a later date. What color for the new Amarr garage door do you suggest that would look best with the existing siding, wicker tan or sandstone or just plain white? Thank you!

Whatever color matches the new siding, is what I would go with but I’m kinda boring and don’t like garages that face the street, though I have one, too 😆

Have you seen the Almond in "real life?" To me, it looks the closest to the siding and I'd try to match that, as others have said. Unless you're going to paint the shutters the slightly darker Wicker or Sandtone; then I'd match the garage door to those.

But what do I know - I have a large white front-facing garage door with brick similar to yours. Brick only on the front facade; sides and back are siding. Those who disapprove - go talk to Toll Brothers who built all of the expensive homes here, and to the HOA who won't let anyone change any exteriors.

Thank you, tsjmjh, for your helpful comment. That’s what I thought about the almond color initially too, but in real life it is really yellow and clashes with the siding, so I kind of ruled that out. Exactly, we will be painting the shutters like you suggested darker Wicker or Sandtone to bring a more cohesive look. I appreciate your comment!

I agree, in real life the almond was a very yellowish color that clashed with our beige siding and looked off. Great advice about the Sandstone matching with the roof! Yes, we will be getting windows on the new door! Thanks again, houssaon!

The Sandstone, will also give a better contrast when you paint the shutters that color. Then maybe paint your front door the color of your current stutters.
