Can you get a closer picture of the double doors? Can you remove the siding that is forming the arches? That is the major item that is dating your house. Can you remove the diamond grids from the windows?

I would move arches.

@Celery. Visualization, Rendering images do you have wood wrapping the poles? what color? Also the left front door is a facade, just a wall. I love your idea, but wondering for that door how to fill in and just update to one single door.

I think both of her renderings removed the posts and made the whole porch into an entry room with all glass (first pic) or glass window and fancier door (2nd pic).

Get a nice single door instead of double. One big window from the right instead of two, wide steps. I used wood posts cedar/wood color in dark or medium.

How about a single door with sidelites? Then remove the arches and wrap the posts so they're thicker. Add some bright pillows to your furniture and a pretty gerber daisy in a pot on the table between the chairs.
