Need paint color to tie kitchen/dining room space

We just renovated our kitchen which opens into a dining room. My husband and I cannot decide on a wall color that'd tie together the two spaces. We need something elegant and soft.
We have gray/marble/white theme going on in the kitchen, red brick wall in the dining room and orb chandelier. See pics attached.
