I have a 6x8 “mud room” right off the kitchen and goes into the tiny laundry area. Our 1950’s house has additions (hence the step down and small window). Once our puppy gets older, we’ll keep her kennel here ideally. These two spaces get a lot of traffic and often guests enter through our back door from the laundry room. I need to make this space welcoming. We recently moved in. Could this mushroom technically be a pantry area? I want this area to be bright and welcoming with small pops of color, either emerald green or bright blues.
