Here's what Seed Superstore recommends for my area. I have not contacted them yet but the reason I'm doing this is to get away from needing fungicides. My sod seems too sensitive to fungal attack.

OK, "crap" was a little strong, perhaps. :-) "Not the best" might have been more politic.

SSS is very, very expensive in terms of what you actually get; $10 per pound is way out of line. (Hint: search cultivars individually and you can usually get them for half that price with no noxious weed seeds; the ones you can't get are proprietary to that company and usually very new; I'd actually recommend going with an older, but still modern, and proven cultivar in that case anyway).

It's not strictly necessary to replace the whole thing, just sections that tend to get disease. Choose cultivars that are more tolerant of the diseases you get and are likely to tolerate your watering tendencies, and let them spread (so I'd tend toward bluegrasses) as other grasses surrounding them get ill, if they're going to.

@Joe how's the color compared to what you had? You're still using fungicides, too? I'm trying to get away from that.
