can you use a narrower spray? or spread a tarp like for painting?

A tarp is what I have thought of too for now, but we are building a new house. We will have tile on the floor, but I just did not know If I am overlooking solution for the wall.

I spray my clothes over the utility sink. Even a little spray starch on the floor can be dangerous. As you said, extremely slippery.

Dina, I had a similar problem at my tiled floor master vanity. Not spray starch, but hairspray. I use a little every morning, and got more than frustrated with the upkeep of the tiled floor needing frequent cleaning to stay nice. Bought 3x5' eco friendly cotton rug from Hook and Loom.

Simple, easy, washer/dryer. I lay it back down very slightly damp and its always perfectly flat with no tripping hazard.
