how big is the pot ...

how long have you had the tree .. was it in full sun during the heat wave..

did you recently repot it ...

give us some facts to deal with.. besides the color purple... including location.. big city name ...

heat alone probably isnt the issue ... im thinking improper water or lack of hardening off causing severe leaf stress ...

I have had the tree step years i grew it from the stone the pot is about 40cm diameter and half a meter deep
it has been in direct sunlight during the heatwave around 45C but i have been watering it daily in the evening after 9pm or later once it has cooled down
