Need advice on quartz counter color!

We are remodeling our laundry room, and I’m on the fence with the best quartz counter color. I overthink too much, and therefor can’t decide between a pure white quartz or a darker grey. The dark seems to anchor the room, white seems more spa like. I’ve heard white does stain .

any thoughts? I will be putting white penny tile as backsplash behind washer dryer and also on the floating shelf wall.

Black counters. Hex tiles with grout color to match (not contrasting). Very sophisticated with the striking floor.

What a nice room! I'm so jealous of laundry rooms like yours.

Either would look nice, but I'd go with white for a cleaner, crisper look.

I wouldn't worry too much about staining in the laundry room, but I think the black one (or the really dark gray on the right) would look super in that room!

I also vote white. It just feels more right in a laundry room to me (not sure why). Plus it doesn’t look like the room has windows so I might like to keep things light in there.

Thanks for comments . Room will be getting a square awning window on wall opposite the laundry room., so will be nice to finally have natural light in it.🎉

washer / dryers are the Miele in white , have dark bronze hardware . We are leaning towards the darker quartz....you learn so much in a remodel !

I also vote for dark. Cute laundry room!

Thank you. Should be finished within a week or so and will post a picture. Love seeing the picture in my head turn into reality!

I vote for the dark, too.

I like the gray, not the black, because your floor looks gray and not black. If that is the case, the gray will be more soft than the black.

Doreen, I'd love to see your completed laundry room. I read the other thread when you asked for advice on the Miele counterheight w/d. Like you, I'm 5' 1"m have a very small laundry room (much smaller than yours), and I'd like a nice countertop for folding, etc. How pleased have you been with your Miele's? TIA!

Wow, its been 3 years since i commented on our laundry room! it came out great- and yes, i do like the Miele, once i learned how to operate it! for a while i was getting a really strange odor on clothes after they came out of the dryer. i stopped using the Miele detergents, and that seemed to stop it. We really needed the ventless dryer , which is why we opted for the Miele . Do i wish i had a larger washer /dryer? YES! I miss washing large items!!

doreen, do you have a picture?

Doreen, thanks for the follow up on the Miele! I bought new GE's and and not happy. Too big and too noisy! FYI, back when I was researching, I think i recall learning that the Miele washers and dryers, even the small under the counter model, can handle a large comforter....something about they are able to remove a lot of the air they contain thus making the load effectively smaller. Seems counter-intuitive, but you might want to contact Miele for more info about that. I really need to be able to do bedding, so it is a big concern. BTW, would love to see your 'after' photos!
