It is just LVP and I have heard that coretech is very good I have vinyl plank it is 13 yrs old with big dogs in and out of a dog run in all kinds of weather We did dricore and then the vinyl plank coretech is sort of like that without the hassle of 2 types of flooring.

We have karndean korlok and so far no scratches or fading, even when moving our flexsteel couches across the floor. Lots of dropped items and two 10-15# dogs. Many long posts on here about LVP, I'm sure if you search you'll find plenty of brands. I also looked at Armstrong's LVP and they have several that are very good as well from what I hear.

The coretec wears like iron...it is incredible camouflage for all the little debris that comes in on doggy feet..and so easy to clean...and nice to walk on..with or without shoes..

We also have 40’ of south facing picture windows...no fading ....cant remember all the details about the purchase......but it was at the high end on pricing ...there were lots of cheaper options but this looked the most like real wood .......and was not artificially shiny or fake looking..

WOW ....very interesting...this sparked a search ...we did get ours from pro-source...and it was H20......it was $4.25 per sq.ft.....is that in the ballpark today?

It was so hard for me to not get real wood floors....(as we have a slab foundation and water issues)...but i have never regretted my choice...

I recently had SUPERCORE SPC plank flooring installed over 1200 + square feet in my house that has just sold. It is beautiful flooring and it will be installed throughout my new home. I bought it from WeShipFloors.com. They are great people to deal with, and have been very helpful to me. There is a lot of info on their webpage about SuperCORE. The crew that did my install were very impressed with the flooring. I like the rustic look, but I know it’s not for everyone. SuperCORE comes in about 50 colors I think and numerous wood patterns. It has an aluminum oxide top coating which is very resistant to scratching. It also has an attached foam backing. They will send you samples that can help to narrow down your color choice. I chose a color from several samples and then ordered a full box to click together to get a better idea of the color and pattern of Krypton. I have not been disappointed. I am attaching some photos, but the lighting is not very good and the color is off. The photo of the sample box of flooring with my cat is truer to the color than the photos of it after install.

I also like that it can be installed over a large area without thresholds between rooms.

If you have an installer you trust locally...they would be a good resource for answers to your questions.....we got the...where...when...what kind ...and where to get the best price answers from them....
