I've had a veggie/kitchen garden every season for 25 years. Success varies as far as what grows well, but I've never had a pest problem. But this season, I have mites on my lettuces, basil and cucumbers. How do I get rid of them? I've never sprayed anything on my veggies; we just grow them and eat them. We plant marigolds in between things to help keep the pests away, but this season, there are mites. If the mites live in the soil and the solution is to dig it all out and replace with new soil, I'll do it. Just want to know what the solution is. Thanks.
