I'd avoid strain on the wiring by just cutting off your breakers, installing everything, and then if it doesn't work, contacting the manufacturer for a replacement.

Do you plan to have separate wires for the light kit and the fan motor, or will they both be powered from the same circuit? By quick connect connections, do you mean wire nuts? If so, then you can connect and disconnect them. If they are not, then please post a picture of them.

Are those on the light kit or the fan? If those are on the light kit, how do those on the fan differ?

These are on the light kit and connect the light fixture to the fan wiring. The wires connecting the fan to the house wiring are strand type and are secured using wire nuts.
