May in Saint Petersburg, FL

Aloha! A few photos from Saint Petersburg... it has not been a bad May. I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy.

Divine is a true performer. After several years it grows less and less but blooms and blooms. The inflos spawn fresh flowers for what seems like the entire season.

Cote de'Or. Can have a great looking bloom, but many blooms are sloppy, droopy, curly, random number of petals, and short blooming time from each info. Growth pattern is average. A larger tree covered with blooms would be eye catching but I'm still in search of a better cultivar with yellow base with deep accent colors.

Thumbelina, survivor of a hurricane, cutting theft, light freeze, and the neighbor's cat that has a daily routine that includes working the trunk over with his claws.

Looking down from our garage apartment at a DSP and Divine. Working from home hasn't been so bad with views like this. I bought two DSPs at the same time from the same stock. This one looks like a shrub ball. The other one is tall, narrower, and whispy. Incredible variation for the same cultivar.
