I was pruning my B. Green Mountain today and noticed tons of psyllid cupped foliage. I tediously snipped most of it off as I was pruning. I looked inside and see white stuff (eggs).

So is this the pre-nymph stage? i.e. these eggs were laid last year? (Massachusetts zone 5)

THinking back to last fall, I remember seeing some unexpected discoloring that I ignored. I couldn't wait for spring new growth to cover it up. If related, this problem has probably been going on for awhile. I don't always prune them every year.

Going to do the nearby Green Velvet now. I didn't see as much damage on that one.
