Just wanted to share a few photos of our Ikea kitchen renovation in an old rowhouse.

Contractor did a beautiful job tying in crown moulding throughout the first floor continuous with the cabinets for a more finished floor to ceiling look. The crown moulding is white in the main room, but color matched to the off white of the Grimslov in the kitchen area and you'd never notice unless someone told you to pay attention to it (color transition occurs at a corner on both sides). Also built us a wine shelf to fill in space using the Grimslov large panel pieces, as well as a shelf for the microwave.

Countertops are Cashmere Carrara Quartz. One day.

Been using the kitchen for about seven months. Love the pull out pantry, ikea drawer organizers, enjoy our nice big farmhouse sink.

There are toekick radiators under the cabinets for heat which tie into our old radiator heat throughout the rest of the house.

Big things that make me so happy are lots of windows and light, doors that lead straight out to a cozy deck when we previously almost never used the backyard (first floor is nearly a story off the ground and previously had precarious cement stairs). Little things that make me happy are windows to use for planters (suction cup planters now have kitchen herbs for easy clipping!).

I thought I would get to better staging for photos but it's not happening so here it is. One day we'll pick a backsplash.
