I'd remove all of the arches and square off the entire porch (your house doesn't exactly say "spanish's hacienda" , so those arches aren't really germane to the home.

Right?!! I don’t like the arches at all. The concrete you see is the driveway. Let me get a few pictures for better perspective

Really, the outside doesn’t fit with the inside because it’s so outdated. We want to freshen it up and make it more clean

I agree, I think you could rework that entire front so that it matches what you did inside.

However, it's not going to be a cheap date.

Why don't you call in a pro that can draw up some ideas for you?

or compile some pictures of Spanish ranch style homes that you might want to incorporate?.

I like the arches. I think the windows date the home more than anything...are you replacing those?

If you could get rid of one third to half of that concrete it would be a huge improvement.

Maybe replace some of the concrete with permeable pavers.

That's a concrete overload and more of an eyesore than the arches. Is it a circle drive? All the cars seem to be in a left side carport, so I don't understand - maybe the original builder owned a concrete business and was showing off his work. I would be blasting out the majority of that except for what leads to the carport. Guests can park behind the cars in the carport and you can have a pretty yard.

I like a circular drive for guests :) Pick a house and porch you like and get bids. Anything is possible. I am drawn to plain square wooden posts. But that is my taste :)

Not sure about the concrete but it is a circular driveway. The concrete has several bad spots from roots and such , so it wouldn’t t be a bad idea to replace it with something else.
We definitely need to start looking for a Pro in our area to do some sketches.
