It is similar in form to Cup of Grace, but a different origin. Cup of Grace is larger (leaf size, but unsure if height difference), slower, darker, non-fragrant, and shinier. Cup of Grace is a sport from Devon Green, which comes from the Halcyon line. Pea Pod comes from the Sweet Sunshine line, which has Tokudama aureonebulosa, plantaginea, and sieboldii.

Funny, I just visited another hosta farm nearby, relatively new in making and got there Sweet Sunshine. It stood out in forest settings.

I got Cup of grace last year after convention in Green Bay. Several gardens had it and it was eye catching every time. I wish someone posted comparison side by side.

Definitely not a ho hum green , yet another hosta to add to the wish list.

I hunted for Cup of Grace at the Green Bay convention for the spot our cat Grace is buried. The best I could find was Amazing Grace. Where did you get yours?

I got Cup of Grace from Hostas-Store last year. It is elegant.

I had Cup of Grace on my list for a while but when I had the chance I spent my $$ on other plants.

Interesting that the hostalibrary.org has an unregistered hosta under the "Pea Pod" title. Then, myhostas.be linked the information on Solberg's "Pea Pod" to the photo of Monty Carlson's unregistered "Pea Pod".

Here is a comparison picture of Pea Pod in the ground on the left and Cup of Grace in the pot on the right. Pea Pod is not available anywhere, but Cup of Grace is. They are similar even in flower color and timing, but Cup of Grace is darker, glossier, and bigger.
