I'm in zone 10a and need suggestions for plants that can do well in full sun as well as shade. We have a large, very full tree that only lets in very dappled sunlight for an hour or two in summer. The tree gets so thick and heavy with leaves that grow onto our neighbors roof that it needs to get heavily trimmed/thinned every fall resulting in full sun until spring. Is there anything I can plant in ground that will survive this change? Would love something small and flowering to plant below/around the base of our jasmine vine.
