I just received my package from Susan B -- so excited to receive it! She sent

- Blue morning glory seeds --- love blue morning glories!

- Moonflower seeds --- I have been wanting these!

- 2 kinds of tomatoes seeds --- can't wait to start these next winter!

- Cucumber sheet mask - this is perfect after a hard day in the garden!

ok now i look out at the yard. It is greening up from rain . But the crab grass is twice as big. I looked up why people dont grow crab grass here. It says harbors bugs and fungus. If you treat the bugs and fungus. Why not. it is green and can take my full sun front yard. Anyone ever think about this? the bunnies ate the tops off my tiger lilies. It seems they double up on the bublets this year.

Moringa - it's made its way from a little known plant to nutritional super-power status but did you know there are actually many different types? Fortunately most are well suited for growing in Florida and make a fast growing tree; moringa is prized for its nutritional value and the fact that nearly all parts of the plant can be used in some form or another...although caution is warranted especially in amts and preparation methods (ie - all things in moderation and don't overdose on the seeds

Tammy, someone on a FB post I’m on posted about cucamelon seeds and curiosity got the best of me and I order some to grow next year.

Ohhh Margo you should have asked me, i have extra cucumelon seeds i could have sent you some and saved your money.

TWELVE SURPRISING USES FOR VICKS VAPORUB

Here is how I save my bacon grease for later use or seasoning.

Pour cooled bacon grease in a styrofoam egg carton. Place carton in freezer- when grease is solid Remove and pop out of styrofoam and place in ziploc baggie-You now have individual chunks. Keep in freezer until ready to use again.

Tammy, I planted some Moringa this year but I'm in zone 7 so I will need to bring it inside for the winter. Has anybody used Moringa powder and if so, what were the results?

Your cards are always a treat.my white seeds are chamomile the blue is love in the mist and red is lettuce lollo rossa. 2 cute flags to put out.and stickers for future projects. Received my package yesterday. Shirley sent bright joy and golden lilies. She also included milkweed, datura, both white as well as blue false indigo and firecracker penstemon. Thank you Shirley. I was delighted to add the new lilies to my garden which already has many lilies from you.

lurking here because houzz suggested i do... fun times this month ladies. Tammy i had some cut zucchini so i threw it in a dish with cauliflower and jalapeño and added the sauce and topped with cheese. its in the oven now and smells great! also loved your vicks post. i need my cats to stay off of my new rug! don't mind me... :)

Girls dont know if you remeber. My car was stolen on June 10th. It was found 3 blocks away in a Walmart parking lot. the manager told the police it has been there at least 3 weeks. In perfect condition. That is. what the detective said would happen. It had nothing of value in it. I have put motion lights all around the house since. had fun this month.

Margo the deer ate around 800 of the daylilies. A few were not eaten really close to the house.

They also ate our tomatoes. I did not know they ate tomatoes.

Shirley, I am so sorry about your day lilies. The deer came over my fence and ate the top two feet off my roma tomato plants and helped themselves to zucchini and other squash plants as well. They also ate my my oriental and Asiatic lilies down to the stubs. I told my husband he is going to have to create an 8 ft tall fence inside our fenced back yard. I was so heart broken. I have been spraying to keep them out and everything but it is difficult to keep them out when they are hungry. My neighbor down the street built a 7 ft tall cyclone fence structure and added his raised garden beds all around the perimeter of his garden "room".. He said it has worked really well for him and I am going to have to resort to the same thing if I want to have a vegetable garden I guess.
