Do you know what species your plant is? Shamrock isn’t any specific plant it’s just a catch all name for various trefoil leaved plants. Do you still have the seed packet?

I do, on the packet I received it says trifolium dubium. That is all it says.

OK, that is basically a hardy weed species of temperate climates so it should be quite quick to sprout. Be patient and don’t keep it too warm. Don’t try and grow it indoors. Here’s some information https://www.rhs.org.uk/Plants/142254/Trifolium-dubium/Details

note that that is a British source so when it says ‘sunny position’ bear that in mind. We don’t know where you live but your sunny position might be much hotter than ours.

For future reference it is is always a good idea to use the botanical name for a plant when researching or enquiring. That way you’ll know you’re getting precise information. Common names vary regionally and often are used for different species.
