Hi everyone. I got the plant on the right several years ago and cannot remember what it is. It doesn’t seems to quite be a banana plant or a BOP. It’s never been too happy with anything that I’ve tried for it. It’s been slow growing and has never really gotten any bigger that what you see in the photo, maybe 1.5ft. New shoots come from the middle and the older leaves always yellow and die. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve tried bright sunny SW windows. Bright NE facing windows. Inside. Outside. Nothing. The plant on the left is a pup that sprouted from the original plant and is struggling as well. The stems are now yellowing and not green. But the plant on the right is in a better way. theyre on the same watering schedule and receive the same amount of Light and plant food. Same soil. Same terracotta pot
