In other threads I've mentioned having cucumber wilt problems. The cucumbers I grow are resistant to wilt, so I was confused. After pulling the wilted plants out and seeing areas along the stem at the bottom, I'm now thinking it's a squash borer problem. I want to use natural products to fight this. I do have some food grade diatomaceous earth. Have any of you ever tried that for the squash problem? I'm assuming I would just side-dress the bottom stems? Thanks.
