Can you post a pic of your countertop?

The small piece in front of them is a sample of the vanity top. I am trying to get an idea of what floor tile to use with it only to change when it it installed.

I’m not entirely sure but I think I read on here (Karen MT) that fantasy brown is a marble. Just be sure of what you’re buying. We have carrara marble counters in our bathroom and love them. You just need to know what you’re buying so you know how to take care of it.

I‘m not a designer, but I have made all the material choices for my home’s kitchen and all the bathrooms.

IMO if the counter is busy, the floor and everything else in the space must be quiet. I personally do not like busy bathroom or kitchen counters, floors, or anything else to be busy, striped, stone-like, or standoutish. But if you decide to choose that, make sure the floor is very quite with no movement, veining, or stone-like mimicking.

In my house’s bathrooms, I chose very quiet counters and floors, and did more dramatic shower tile selections.

Maybe a designer could help you choose materials.

I have fantasy brown in my kitchen and hall bath. It’s such a pretty stone(depending on the slab). Anyway, I like the grey tile in the middle or the white tile. I think the white one looks more modern, and the middle grey leans towards traditional. What color will your vanity be? What style are you going for?I’ve been told fantasy brown is quartzite; that it’s harder than marble, close to the hardness of granite or as hard as granite.

Thank you Mandy, this is what I was looking for. The tiny piece below them is hard to really see , but the slab we picked out has a lot of green and gray. I will be using it in my master bath and a another full bath. I am leaning towards the middle tile and the white is a little more modern than I prefer. I really appreciate your help. I am sure it will come into play when it is installed in a few days.

FB marble is VERY busy. It needs calmer choices than what you show, or you will have pattern clash.
