I am getting parts of my home remodeled and have a design dilemma. My wood floors in the living room will stay for another five years or so but my entry floors are being replaced. The floors connect by a step. You come into the house into the entry and then step down into the living room. I’m pretty sure the living room floors are too old to match so trying to find a solution. I really really want wood floors ( luxury vinyl plank) in my entry so trying to avoid tile. I’m wondering if I got a type of floor that has different wood colors in it with one of the colors matching (as close as it can) my living room floor if that would look okay. Any ideas, tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
